Transitions

May 9 - July 24, 2017

The first exhibition presented by Borealis Gallery, entitled Transitions, is a solo exhibition of the works of Moira Racich. The exhibition features works from the last 11 years, created while Racich was living and working in Boston, MA and after her move to Northern Michigan. Works include acrylic and watercolor paintings from several bodies of work, exploring Racich's transitions between media, between bodies of work, and between physical locations. The subject matter of the works explores the idea of transition in various forms: night to day, day to night, dark to light, nebula to star.
